I’m thinking of doing a novel that is designed to be boring.

A novel with its very intention of being boring. It’s not to entertain rather it is to tell a story.

It’s about the normalcy of everyday life and it’s repeating nature. We find these things dull and we seek things that are normally stimulating.

We are used to having power fantasies, magic, romance, and sci-fi that would seem cool if we have it in real life.

We forget that life in its very essence is dull and boring however we emphasize and enjoy the things that are pleasant and joyful. We remorse and grieve to things that are sad and depressing. We value fleeting moments more than the one we actually experience.
