There are two things that instantly turn me off when I play games.
It’s bad FPS and bad ping.
I don’t care if the game’s good or not. As long as it’s laggy, it’s unenjoyable.
I know for a fact that if I was younger I would put up with it as long the content’s good.
Nowadays, I don’t have that much time to waste and I want my games crisp and clean.
I grew up not having an amazing computer. I always played games at 25-30 FPS, sometimes even lower. I remembered playing League of Legends at16-24 FPS, 30 if I’m lucky.
I don’t want to experience that shit again.
But, yeah. That’s probably one of the biggest reasons why I don’t play games anymore. Games today require decent specs to at least play barely.
I just laugh at myself for playing Warcraft 3 and Starcraft since those games are capable of running in my computer without any problems.
The downside is though, I don’t have anyone to play with. What I’m playing are old games and nobody really plays them anymore. It’s kind of sad.
An integral part of the game is to play with friends. But, when you can’t play with friends that’s another turn off.
Yikes, what an annoying problem.
