I had this professor who was an amazing teacher when I was a freshman.
I always believed that his classes where the ones to go to when one was in doubt.
I was wrong.
I didn’t know at the time that his quality of teaching would peak at first year.
I already had an amazing professional image of him, so I tolerated at the sudden drop of quality when I was a sophomore.
I thought that it was his way of letting go and allowing us to spread our wings, but no.
He was winging it without an actual plan.
Now, as a junior, he literally bought a Udemy course for less than $12 then started screensharing it every meeting.
He literally bought a course for all 70 students to watch in a very blurry live screen share.
It’s a genius idea of not doing any actual work. He doesn’t need to expend the effort to teach when he can just show the video.
I seriously want my money back.
My friends and I spent almost $400 for his class. We expected quality teaching live and not some Udemy course that we could all buy. WE expected him to teach us first hand. We want to learn from his experience, but no.
He believed that a video of someone we don’t know be sufficient in dealing with this.
Whatever man. I lost a large portion of respect for this professor.
