We began working on our thesis and we were tasked to search for references.
I know, that sounded fun.
Anyways, I’m confident I could find good references, but I don’t see a time where I’ll read them in my own accord.
But when my team and I started working on the first draft, I, unironically, liked reading the references.
I especially liked it when I was putting my own understanding down on paper with the correct citation.
I don’t know why I liked it, but I did, which was extremely odd.
I’m not particularly fond of doing research since it’s tedious and boring.
But, I feel really good that I was able to understand what was written.
The more I read, the more I understand the next paper. It’s a weird feeling, you know.
At first, I completely have no idea, at all. I was going in blind. Then after the third or fourth reading, I began putting the pieces together and it just clicks.
It feels good, honestly. It feels good to get the pieces together.
I can’t help but think that people’s real superpower is having that “Aha!” moment from time to time.
