I remembered the first program I made, myself, opened my eyes to the possibilities of programming as a career.
It was a simple project, but I was so proud of it.
It was a simple To-Do console app built with Python.
I know what you’re thinking, “It’s not a hard application at all.” Yes, that’s true.
But, I built the project myself. No guides, no nothing.
I was 18 years old at the time, and I know jack shit about programming languages, and I didn’t commit to it all.
But when I finished the application, I felt like a motherfucking genius that can do anything.
I used the motivation to build GUIs, especially games, and from there I stopped.
Instead of using Python, I use Java instead.
From there, it expanded. In a little less than a year, I built four web applications that I personally use.
