I thought I was tracking my calories correctly today, but I failed to notice one particular thing.
Don’t get me wrong, I did my due diligence and looked at nutrition facts at the can itself. But, it didn’t cross my mind the word: “Serving Size”.
It wasn’t until the end of the night when I’m legitimately at the end of my calorie tracking that it dawned on me that the can of tuna that I just ate suspiciously had low calories when I’m feeling full.
So, I double-checked the can again and saw that it was 100 calories per 56 grams. The can contained the 180 grams!
In other words, I severely miscalculated. Instead of being in a caloric deficit, I’m in a fucking surplus.
God! I’m so stupid. I’m not going to live down this mistake until a couple of days.
