Frontend Skills

For the majority of my working career as a Software Engineer, I’ve always been involved in backend work.

What I mean by that is I work on the what goes behind the scenes when you press a button on a site or app.

It varies from setting up infrastructure, increasing performance, and maintaining data. The main goal here is to make it as seamless as possible for the user.

Even though it’s hard work, it’s still very tedious.

You stare at code, monitoring applications, and be prepared for an data patches. It gets stale for a while.

So I decided to do the opposite of my work, frontend!

I’ve never handled UI/UX before, so might as well give it a try. It offers a new perspective and breathe of fresh air for my career and sanity.
