I’m pretty strict with my morning routine.
It helps me soothe my mind and mentally prepare myself for the day.
Although it isn’t followed everyday as much as I would like to, I still do my best to be as consistent as humanly possible.
My morning begins with writing out a journal entry. It’s about anything and everything under the sun.
It’s my mental brain dump. Everything I can think of no matter how nonsensical it could be I always put it there.
Then after that entry, I have another brain dump. This time it’s more intentional, quiet, and diving deeper into my feelings, mood, and activities for the day.
When I’m done writing, I’m seen outside walking for 2,000 steps. It’s the perfect way to start the day to have the sun touching my skin.
After the walk, I head home take a shower and start the day working.
It’s really that simple, but it’s proven to be 100% effective of keeping me sane.
